Warranty and service
Urnen Centrum Nederland ensures the delivery of a quality urn and therefore provides a warranty of 1 year on the product. If a manufacturing defect occurs within this period, the urn will be replaced free of charge.
Maintenance
All urns from our collection are suitable for outdoor use. However, urns that are placed outdoors require specific maintenance. The following important precautions significantly improve the durablity of an urn:
Closure
The urn must be completely closed with transparent silicone sealant before placement. This will prevent water from remaining in the edge, which could otherwise present a risk of breakage during frost. To make sure the urn is closed correctly, we recommend that the crematorium takes care of the closure
Placement
The urn must stand on a flat surface and cannot be placed directly on the ground or on the grass. This way you can prevent water from entering the urn. There is a small hole in the bottom of the urn to drain condensation water, to prevent breakage in case of frost.
Maintenance
The urn should be cleaned twice a year with a mild detergent and sprayed twice a year with a water-repellent agent (preferably silicone spray).
